Project period: from 01.09.2019 to 31.10.2020.

Project objective

Improving the competences of people aged 50+ in health and prevention, crisis intervention, communication, artistic activity, law and local history through the creation of educational programmes and the implementation of teaching activities using the resources of the JKU
in Kielce.

The project will develop curricula and provide teaching activities for non-standard higher education audiences to develop participants' competences related to:

social and professional activation,
expansion of general and specialised knowledge and development of interests,
stimulation of educational and cultural activities,
prevention of social exclusion.

Target group

The project will cover 282 people aged 50+, including 237 women and 45 men.

Project effect

Development and delivery of 6 course modules and competence enhancement in:

health and disease prevention – through the implementation of the 'Path to health, beauty and fitness' training course,
law – through the implementation of the 'Let's not get surprised – hand in hand with the law' training,
communication – through the implementation of the 'It's all about that the nimble tongue puts into words what the head can invent' training,
artistic activities – through the realisation of the 'Hand in hand with art' workshop,
local history – through the implementation of the 'You praise what's foreign, but don't know your own' training and practical exercises,
crisis intervention – through the implementation of the 'Real look at old age' training.
