New Era of Education

Project titled: 'New Era of Education' no. POWR.03.04.00-00-D078/16 implemented by Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.

The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund, Axis III Higher education for the economy and development, Measure 3.4 Management in higher education institutions of the Operational Programme 'Knowledge Education Development 2014 - 2020.'

Aims and objectives of the project

1.The main objective of the project is to improve the competences of a minimum of 45 persons who are the teaching staff of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Arts and the Faculty of Humanities of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce in the field of innovative teaching skills, IT skills, teaching in a foreign language and information management as supporting organisational changes and raising the competence of staff in the higher education system, through participation in training courses/courses/workshops in the period from 01.09.2017 to 31.08.2019.

2. The project is aimed at 50 people (35W/15M)- academic teachers employed at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Arts and the Faculty of Humanities.

3. The project comprises three tasks:

Task 1 Group training to improve innovative teaching skills:

- Coaching and mentoring in the work of the educator,

- First level tutor course,

- Inspire, enthrall, fascinate - innovative teaching skills,

- Memory and creativity - innovative teaching methods,

- Critical thinking and ToC tools,

- M. Achtnich's Vocational Pictures Test method,

- M. Achtnich's Vocational Pictures Test for advanced practicioners,

- Creative thinking using TRIZ methods with Level I certificate.

Task 2 Group training to improve IT skills, information management, in teh scope of teaching in English:

- Creating multimedia presentations, using 3D techniques,

- Statistica - basic course,

- Practical application of regression techniques in Statistica,

- Statistica Multivariate analyses,

- Academic Teaching Excellence - course of teaching in English.

Task 3 Individual training to improve the competence of teaching staff:

- Instrumental Enrichment Therapy course with certificate,

- Supervision training in the work of the teacher/pedagogue/psychologist,

- English Medium Instruction Course.
