Accessibility of academic space for persons with disabilities - for the teaching staff of Exact and Natural Sciences

We sincerely invite the teaching staff from the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences to participate in the training „Accessibility of academic spaces for people with disabilities”.
 
The aim of the training is to raise awareness of disability issues. The training courses will familiarise the staff at our University with the various types of disability and the resulting specific needs of students, instructions on how to provide support, respond in crisis situations, as well as the theoretical aspects and legal basis of issues in the field of disability.
 
The full training cycle includes 2 days (from 8:00 to 14:45): the practical day will be conducted on site in groups of 10-12 people maintaining the sanitary regime and safety precautions, the theoretical day will be carried out through the MS Teams platform.
 
The training is planned on:
First date 05.11.2021 practical day (on site)
Second date 19.11.2021 practical day (on site)
26.11.2021 theoretical day (remote)
 
Due to the epidemiological situation, the dates are subject to change.
Persons willing to participate in the training are asked to send completed application forms (link to the form) to the following address: agata.slomkiewicz@ujk.edu.pl by 03.11.2021 for the first date and by 10.11.2021 for the second date.
 
The training is organised as part of the University Open to the Needs of Persons with Disabilities Project, co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020, Priority Axis III Higher Education for the Economy and Development, Measure 3.5 Comprehensive university programs under Contract No. POWR.03.05.00-00-A023/19 concluded with the National Centre for Research and Development.
