Enrolment of companies/institutions (Internship providers)
interested in accepting students on internships

Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, implementing a project co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund, Axis III Higher education for the economy and development Measure 3.1 Competences in higher education Operational Programme 'Knowledge Education Development 2014- 2020', entitled: 'High Quality Internships for Artists and Educators' with the number POWR.03.01.00-00-S075/17, invites Institutions/companies interested in accepting of the 3rd year of the first year of full-time studies in the fields of: Polish Philology, History, Design, and Artistic Education in the visual arts for students/graduates 16-week (480 hours) internships .

General information

Support in the form of high quality internship programmes will be implemented
in areas in line with the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Świętokrzyskie Region (information and communication technologies; trade fair and congress industry; intelligent administration).
The subject matter of the internship must be directly related
with the education results of the course of study. The Institution providing the internship for the Student will not bear any costs related to the organisation of the internship. The internship stipend for the Intern will be paid by Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.
The internship provider appoints an Internship Supervisor, who will supervise the Intern's fulfilment of the high quality internship programme. An Internship Supervisor will be appointed by the Internship Provider for the entire duration of the internship programme. For supervising the Intern, the Internship Supervisor will receive remuneration paid by the Internship Provider (the institution accepting the Intern) according to its rules. The Internship Provider will receive reimbursement of costs associated with
additional remuneration for the Internship Supervisor
in the amount not greater than 2.22 PLN/hour x 480 hours/internship = 1 065.60 PLN, when caring for one intern.
In order to settle the costs of the Internship Supervisor's remuneration, the Internship Provider undertakes to issue to the University an accounting note (debit) constituting the basis for the payment of funds together with the
confirmation of the transfer of remuneration to the Internship Supervisor. The note in the content of the title should include the name of the project and an indication of the period for which the care of the Project Participants is to be reimbursed and the appropriate amount to be reimbursed. The Internship Supervisor is obliged to provide care to the Intern for a total of 480 hours during 16 weeks.
Scope of duties of the Internship Supervisor

preparation of a workstation for the intern;
respecting and controlling the intern's working time;
supervision of the completion of the attendance register and internship logbook;
familiarising the intern with their duties and working conditions, including the work regulations;
carrying out the necessary training related to the intern's position;
assignment of ongoing tasks to be performed;
supervision of the performance of tasks;
acceptance of the tasks carried out;
verification of compliance of the internship with the internship programme;
keeping the Project Provider informed of the course of the internship, in particular of any difficulties and irregularities;
providing assistance and guidance;
preparation of a certificate and final report on the completion of the internship;
other activities that are appropriate to the provision of care.
