Required documents (information for foreigners)

First-cycle studies, long-cycle master studies, second-cycle studies:

  1. Printout of the personal questionnaire
  2. A recent photograph in accordance with the requirements used for issuing identity cards (same as the digital photograph attached to the online registration form). Photograph in electronic version - jpg 2cm x 2.5cm, 236 x 295 pixels.
  3. A Pole's card, a permanent residence permit together with a residence card or another document granting the status entitling the candidate to study without paying fees, if the candidate has one (document to be inspected).
  4. In the case of recruitment to first-cycle or long-cycle master studies (a copy with the original to be submitted for certification by the University):
  1. a high school graduation certificate issued in the Republic of Poland, or a high school graduation certificate and a certificate of the results of the high school graduation examination of individual subjects referred to in the Act of 7 September 1991 on the Education System, or
  2. a certificate, other document or diploma referred to in art. 93 sec. 1 of the Act of 7 September 1991 on the educational system, or
  3. a certificate or any other document issued abroad by a school or educational institution recognised by the state on whose territory or in whose educational system it operates, certifying the entitlement to apply for admission to the Republic of Poland whose education system it operates, recognised as confirming in the Republic of Poland the right to apply for admission to higher education studies in accordance with art. 93 sec. 2 or 3 of the Act of 7 September 1991 on the educational system, or
  4. a high school graduation certificate issued abroad, entitling to apply for admission to higher education in the country in whose education system the institution issuing the certificate operates, recognised - pursuant to the regulations on the recognition of certificates - as equivalent to the high school graduation certificate issued in the Republic of Poland.
  1. In the case of recruitment to second-cycle studies:
  1. the documents listed in points 1 to 4,
  2. a higher education diploma obtained in Poland, or
  3. a legalised or apostilled diploma or other foreign university graduation document entitling to take up second-cycle studies in the country in which it was issued, recognised as equivalent to the appropriate Polish first-cycle diploma, in accordance with the regulations on the recognition of higher education diplomas obtained with abroad, unless they have been exempted from the nostrification proceedings under these provisions, or
  4. recognised, on the basis of an international agreement, as equivalent to a relevant Polish first-cycle diploma or as entitling to undertake second-cycle studies in the Republic of Poland, or
  5. a diploma certifying the completion of higher education studies abroad, recognised in the Republic of Poland.
  1. A medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to study on faculties where there are harmful, arduous or dangerous factors to health (issued by an occupational physician, on a valid form according to the regulation of the minister in charge of health) - candidates for the following programmes: dietetics, physiotherapy, cosmetology, medical programme, nursing, obstetrics, emergency medicine, physical education, physics and technical physics.
  2. A sickness or accident insurance policy for the period of studying in Poland or a European Health Insurance Card or a declaration of voluntary enrolment in insurance with the National Health Fund immediately after commencement of studying.
  3. Confirmation of knowledge of the Polish language for studies conducted in Polish:
  • a certificate of proficiency in Polish issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language, or
  • a document certifying the completion of a one-year preparatory course for studies in the Polish language in units designated by the minister responsible for higher education, or
  • confirmation of proficiency in the Polish language issued by the Polish Language Committee appointed by the Rector on the basis of separate regulations.
  1. The obligation to submit the documents referred to in point8 does not apply to persons who present a higher education diploma or a secondary school certificate obtained in Poland.
  2. In the case of studies conducted in a foreign language, a document confirming knowledge of the foreign language.
  3. Declaration of reading the information clause concerning the processing of personal data.
  4. A decision of the school superintendent on the recognition of a certificate obtained outside the Republic of Poland as a document confirming secondary education and entitlement to apply for admission to higher education (does not apply to certificates recognised by law or certificates referred to in international agreements).
  5. A copy of a certificate obtained outside the Republic of Poland with an apostille or legalised (not applicable to certificates recognised by law or certificates referred to in international agreements, original to be presented for certification by the University).
  6. A certificate confirming that a high school graduation certificate obtained outside the Republic of Poland entitles one to apply for admission to higher education in the country in whose educational system it was issued (a document may be additionally required).
  7. In the case of candidates for the medical programme - full-time long-cycle master studies, conducted in English, in addition to the documents indicated above, candidates shall submit:
  1. cover letter,
  2. transcript (list) of secondary school grades,
  3. cover letter,
    transcript (list) of secondary school grades,
    document confirming knowledge of the English language (the list of documents confirming knowledge of the English language can be found in annex no. 3 to Resolution no. 67/2022 of the Senate of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce of 30 June 2022 on the conditions and procedure of recruitment to higher education in the academic year 2023/2024).
  1. In the case of underage candidates, the consent of parents/legal guardians is required for the minor's commencement of studies at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce with signatures certified by a notary public or with a signature certified by a Polish diplomatic and consular post or with a signature certified by a person authorised by a Polish diplomatic and consular post with a signature certified by a Polish diplomatic and consular post or certified by a person authorised to certify signatures on the territory of the country from which the foreigner comes, together with a sworn translation of this document into Polish.

Those submitting documents should show proof of identity.

Any document issued in a foreign language must be submitted together with its translation into Polish.

Candidates taking the International Baccalaureate (IB), the European Baccalaureate (EB) and the Baccalaureate at foreign secondary schools, if they do not have a Baccalaureate certificate by the deadline for the submission of documents, may be admitted to the admission procedure on condition that they submit a certificate that the candidate will take the Baccalaureate in 2023. Successful candidates will be admitted to the studies on condition that they submit their high school graduation certificate in the original no later than 16 September 2023.

Candidates for second-cycle studies, who have a first-cycle diploma from outside the area of study other than the chosen field of study second-cycle studies, are obliged to attend an interview taking into account the programme-related learning outcoms of first-cycle studies in the chosen field of study.

 

Applications without a complete set of documents will not be considered.
