International Visegrad Fund

The International Visegrad Fund was established by an agreement concluded on 9 June 2000 by the Visegrad Group, i.e. the Czech Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic. The aim of the Fund is to promote cooperation between the Group's countries and their joint representation in third countries.
 
The Fund's headquarters are located in Bratislava.
 
The aim of the Fund is to support cooperation between the Visegrad countries and their joint representation in third countries.
 
These objectives are pursued through financial support for promotion and development activities:
- cultural cooperation;
- scientific exchange, research and cooperation in the field of education;
- youth exchanges;
- border cooperation;
- tourism.
