COMMUNICATION OF THE UNIVERSITY COUNCIL



The University Council of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce (JKU) invites persons who meet the formal requirements set out in the JKU Statutes (§ 142) to submit their candidacies for the position of Rector of JKU. The role of the University Council is to identify candidates who will then be subject to an election procedure conducted by the Electoral College.

 

In identifying candidates to serve as Rector of JKU, the University Council will
take into account following criteria/questions:

  1. knowledge of the system of science and higher education in Poland,
  2. knowledge of the operation principles of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce,
  3. experience in leadership roles in higher education and science institutions,
  4. presented vision for the development of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.

 

Applications will be accepted at the Organizational and Legal Department in the Rector's Office
located at ul. Żeromskiego 5, room 113, e-mail: dop@ujk.edu.pl until 28 February 2020.
12:00 pm.


Correct submission should include:

  1. CV,
  2. vision for the development of JKU in 2020-2024 (max. 3 pages of standard typescript),
  3. the completed documents required from rectoral candidates, as specified
    by the University Election Committee; these documents are available at http://www.ujk.edu.pl/wybory_na_kadencje_2020-2024.html
                           
     

The University Council will invite the selected candidates for an interview on the issues identified above.
