6 June 2016	First meeting of the working group, where efforts to obtain the HR logo are launched. The group develops the initial procedure to prepare for implementing the provisions of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
2 August 2016	His Magnificence Rector Jacek Semaniak signs a declaration of support for the principles and recommendations adopted in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
3 August 2016	A declaration of support for the principles and recommendations adopted in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers is sent to the European Commission.
22 August 2016	The European Commission confirms receiving the declaration and informs JKU about initiating a procedure to include JKU among the scientific units supporting the provisions of the Charter and the Code.
19 September 2016	JKU receives an official response of the European Commission to the previously sent Declaration of Support for the principles and recommendations adopted in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The Commission accepts the declaration and encourages JKU to continue the procedure concerning implementing the principles of the Charter and the Code. 14 November 2016	The Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce has officially submitted its application documents to the European Commission to receive the HR distinction.
10 February 2017	The European Commission has awarded the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce the distinction "HR Excellence in Research" (HR distinction).
8 March 2019	After two years of implementing the principles of the Charter and Code as well as the HR Strategy, JKU submits a report to the European Commission – the so-called Internal Review.
11 February 2021	Establishment of a Team for implementing the principles of Open, Transparent, and Substantive Recruitment of Researchers at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce and monitoring the implementation of the HR Strategy and Action Plan.
22 February 2022	Introduction of guidelines for applying the principles of Open, Transparent, and Substantive Recruitment of OTM-R Researchers at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.
