Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

  it gives the Region, the Jan Kochanowski University of Humanities and Sciences in Kielce, The "Dla Rozwoju Chirurgii"Foundation, the HolyCross Cancer Center, and City Authorities great honour to organise the International Health andLongevity Forum, which will be held during 20th-22nd of May 2010.

  The Minister of Health and World Health Organization - WHO Country Office in Poland have taken honorary patronage over theForum.

  The postulates of the global Health 21 - Health for all in the 21st Century strategy, the European strategy for Child andAdolescent Health and Development, being an ethical and scientific interpretation in the field of using health as an indexof development in all health science and policies' domains in Europe, take into consideration the fact that there is acontinuous increase of elderly people in the world, and the greatest intensification of this phenomenon is noted on theEuropean Continent.Organisers of the Forum join interdisciplinary actions aiming at reaching longevity in good bio-psycho-social condition.Representatives of health sciences, science authorities from Europe, China, Russia, Japan, the USA and other countries inthe world have accepted the invitation to participate in the Congress.

  The Organisation and Science Committee invitedimportant magazines national and foreign to collaborate in propagating results of presented works. The proceedings will takeplace in a number of thematic sessions, i.a.: auxological, gerontological, clinical, physio-therapeutic and nursing.Workshops with participation of foreign guests and accompanying events, propagating unconventional methods of strengtheninghealth by using such forms of activity as: Qi Gong, Tai-Chi and Yoga, are also planned.
